Andreas Claussen

Andreas Claussen, born in Hanover Germany in 1988, is a multidisciplinary artist who combines traditional drawing and painting skills with modern technologies. He has sold his work widely across Europe, South Korea, Canada, and the USA, and has exhibited in galleries and at major art fairs throughout his homeland of Germany, where he continues to live and work.

After painting seascapes for half a decade, Andreas is currently working on a series called “FLOOD”.

Andreas’ recent work represents a commentary on the environmental challenges ahead of us, and at the same time it is a symbol for the fear and uncertainty that flood our minds when we go online and see the news. He uses an ironic and humorous tone to relay poignant and political messages, which are a response to a world that often weighs so heavily on our shoulders. With bold colours and strong textures, his paintings are unique visual experiences, bringing the wow effect to every room, and are the instigator of many meaningful conversations.
