Tony Gittins left school with A levels in Art and Design, and at 17 decided to join his Father's company to fund his passion for painting. Having found his way into surveying until the age of 26, whilst spending his spare time at the easel, he decided to give further time to his artwork and push to become a full time artist.
Over the next few years and having the opportunity of freelance work, his painting took priority until he had his first publishing deal a few years later.
