Artist Abe creates his show stopping paintings using a wide variety of tools including palette knives, spatulas, old toothbrushes, wire wool, in fact anything and everything that will give him the desired mark he is after.

First covering the canvas in a thick, textured layer of Titanium white, Abe then adds random areas of colour which he will eventually skim over using a palette knife, loaded with Ivory black, adding grey tones as the painting develops, yet being careful to leave small pops of colour added earlier.
